Do you keep your commitments to others, and to yourself? Do you realize the energy drain and the damage to trust when you fail to? Do you understand the special importance of a commitment made to someone you have just met at a networking event?

 A commitment is a promise and is usually preceded by the words “I will.” I will exercise every other day, I will avoid eating fried foods, I will call you back in 10 minutes, I will meet you at 9 AM, I will introduce you to Mary Smith. We make bigger commitments too, but often it is the little ones that we fail to recognize as commitments, especially when we are the only one that knows about them.
